I prefer ship only to US. If I can't find a buyer then I will consider shipping to Europe, I will let you know and thanks for interest

Oh man, I am sooo tempted. :p

This forum does a number on my camera-gear-buying disorder.

    ...must resist.

    I agree with Stefan.

I paid $300 for mine a few months ago, and this one looks like it's in better shape.

At f/2, this may not seem like a very fast lens, but the quality of the bokeh is very high, so areas that go out of focus do so smoothly and cleanly.

One alert to the buyer: be careful which adapter you choose (search for threads on this and other forums first). They vary in ergonomics and (apparently) in quality control.

I hope I've bought it. Just waiting on confirmation from the seller.

Arpoador, which adapter would you recommend?

The Metabones is probably best. It has a larger focusing cam.

The Metabones certainly has the best design. I just returned mine for replacement (and had to pay my own shipping back to Hong Kong). A quick search of the forums will show that I wasn't the only one to encounter quality control issues.

I'm hoping I'll eventually have one that actually holds the lens.

In the meantime, I'm using a Kipon that also has a ring that goes around the lens. The Kipon is more expensive than the Metabones, though, and the ring is slippery (talk about a stupid design choice!). That makes focusing a hassle.

I'm looking forward to the Metabones replacement, because I really love the look I get with this lens, and would like to use it more often.

I hear tell RJ has an adapter but I'm told its hard to focus with due to the smallish cam.

I bought three different ones, just to find out which one I like best - they all work but none of them is perfect. Don't expect Leica- like smoothness when focusing. The Metabones and the Monza adapter (a small series by Robert 'Monza' over on another forum) have the best build quality but different designs. I prefer the Metabones one with the outer ring for focusing, but after playing with it for a while one could easily get used to the one with the smaller focusing wheel also. The Lenswerk adapter (through ebay) also has an outer ring but is not as solid as the metabones one - but much lighter, which is not a bad thing either. It really comes down to preference, I think all three are workable. I decided to keep the Metabones even though it is quite heavy, and I will sell one or both of the other ones.
