For sale is the Olympus Zuiko OM 50/2 macro with front and rear caps

The lens is in good condition. The glass is clear with no fungus, haze, etc. The front element is pristine. On the rear element, there are a few very fine hairline scratches. I took pictures at various aperture using this lens and the scratches don't show up in any of my pictures. There might be dust particles like most used lens, but they don't affect picture quality. Focusing is smooth and well damped (on the heavier side). Aperture is snappy, open and close smoothly. There is no oil on the blade. This is a wonderful lens to use, especially if you like long focus throw and heavier damping.

More details about the lens can be found here:

Unlike its 50/3.5 brother, the 50/2 macro has floating element that ensure consistent performance from close focus to infinity. This is one of the three 50/2 macro that I know of (the other two being the ED and the Makro Planar), you can use it as a walk around + macro + available light lens, very versatile.

This lens was originally for Olympus OM mount. But it can be adapted to Canon EOS, Panasonic/Olympus Micro 4/3, or Sony NEX with suitable adapter (not included). Manual focus only, but you can use it on more system as well as with larger sensor if you have multiple bodies or decide to switch format later, unlike the ED version.

More picture of the lens and pictures taken with it can be seen:

I have a copy of the pm 50/2. This is a fantastic lens on m43. It takes good portraits, has a great focus throw, and is a macro all in one. One of my most used lenses, and my most used 50mm lens on m43 by far. I also have the rokkor and Takumar 50/1.4s. Both really need to be stopped down to f/2.0 to get good results, but the OM 50mm is good wide open at 2.0.
