I was not satisfied with the 45-200, so, as soon has I got the oly 45mm f1.8, I sold the pany 45-200 for 200eur (with a 50 euro profit).
The best part is that with half of that money I got the super takumar 50mm f 1.4, the super takumar 85mm f1.9 and the super takumar 135mm f2.8.
I am really impressed with this lens, specialy the 50mm f1.4 which is brand new.
The 85mm is slightly worse wide open but i guess it needs a hood, this one is used and has some cleaning marks to the optics.
The 135mm was very damaged with dents an marks to the rear glass and is useless. I tried to polish its lens and destroyed it...

Have you tried the lenspen on the telephoto lenses? What did you use to polish the 135mm with?

??? not satisfied with 45-200mm?from what point of view? Its not a portrait lens, its not fast tele zoom. But its one of the best lenses for MFt and does produce excellent results. This is my daughter - taken with Oly EPL2 ISO 1600, 200mm 1/500 handheld

    ISO1600_200_1:500.

You got those 3 lenses for only 100 euros? That is a bargain. The 135mm could fetch that much alone if it is the right version and the 85mm is easily worth close to $200 usd on its own. The 50mm is worth at least $75 usd as well, great score!

If the 50mm is yellowing, you can leave it in direct sunlight by a window for a couple of days and it should remove some of the coloring (the 50mm takumars have a radioactive element!).

that 50mm is one of my all-time faves. Although I am also a firm believer in that cheapo Panasonic 45-200. Whatever you use, use it often!

I will get the lenspen but I don't think it will remove cleaning marks, will it?
Well, I just did a silly thing, used crhome metal polish since i had great results using it with... metal.

Anyway, this lens belonged to a Portuguese photo jornalist that as I have been told, made some of the most important photos of the country's recent history. It´s funny to see that while the 50mm f1.4 was like brand new, the 28mm and the 105mm where really heavy used. The 85mm f1.9 shows signs of use but not so damaged as the other two.
I got them for a bargain because they all needed some cleaning.

The lenspen has been used often to restore a lot of glass which seemed to be irrepairably dirtied, and seemed like they would never be usable again. It's definitely worth a try. ;) Pick up a few if need be, lol.

The 45-200 as great IQ from 45mm to something like 100mm, really good, almost as good as the oly 45mm f1.8. But under certain conditions the colors and the contrast are not so good. I always got mixed results with it and found myself converting a lot of images to black and white.
From 150mm to 200mm I think that it rarely delivers well, even with a tripod.

Psh, any slow lens tends to dissatisfy me. I'm easily frustrated by slow shutter speeds. ;)

Well I guess I really need to try it, since I have a lot of glass with those problems.
You are right, slow super tele lens are a problem because the shutter speed as to be increased to avoid blur. They are only good with strong day light.
    Thanks
