I am moving to an E-PL1 body and am selling:

1) E-P1 body: $300 now $275
Very nice silver body, charger, battery, body cap, cables, original box.

2) FL-20 flash: $75
Very nice; FL-20 is higher above the lens than the FL-14, so less red-eye and less shading of wider lenses or lenses with hoods; like 9-18, 12-60, and 14-140. Its also a bit more powerful.

Together: $350 now $325. Both are in great shape.

I'll post pictures later tonight.

Prices are US$/CAN$ including Paypal and shipping to CONUS or Canada. First "I'll take it!" with a payment to my Paypal gets it.

Also available: Olympus VF-1 viewfinder...

I've added to this listing to include an Olympus VF-1 viewfinder in perfect shape (I forgot I had it!)

FS: E-P1 silver, FL-20, VF-1 viewfinder

-------------------

1) Olympus E-P1 body: $300 now $275
Very nice silver body, charger, battery, body cap, cables, original box.

2) Olympus FL-20 TTL flash: $75
Very nice; FL-20 is higher above the lens than the FL-14, so less red-eye and less shading of wider lenses or lenses with hoods; like 9-18, 12-60, and 14-140. Its also a bit more powerful.

3) Olympus VF-1 optical viewfinder (for 17mm or 20mm lens) bright and clear: $60

Two of the above for $325; all three together: $350. All are in great shape.

I'll post pictures later tonight.

Prices are US$/CAN$ including Paypal and shipping to CONUS or Canada. First "I'll take it!" with a payment to my Paypal gets it.

Thanks for the info. I'm debating between this VF and the electronic DMW-LVF1E. I heard that the second one has a low resolution...

Yale,
Yes, it is just an optical finder. I have one on my GF1 with the 17 & 20 all the time.

VF-1 viewfinder $60 shipped

E-P1 body has found a good home.

The only homeless piece now is the Olympus VF-1 viewfinder at $60 shipped CONUS/Canada.

Just to try to clear it up, the Olympus VF-1 is optical; it is a precision lens that let you see the approximate field of view that the 20mm or 17mm lens would see; thiis is useful when the sun is too bright to see the LCD screen and to facilitate less camera shake because you are not holding the camera at arm's length.

The Oly and Panasonic viewfinders are Electronic View Finders (EVFs); a tiny LCD in the accesory eyepiece that shows essentially what the rear LCD does, rather than a direct view lens. These EVFs offer the same advantages as the optical viewfinders, the additionall advantages of showing overlay data and focus in the viewfinder and offering a flip-up position, and the disadavantages of blackout (like the LCD) when shooting action and increased bulk and cost.

The Oly EVF fits only Oly E-P2 and E-PL2 bodies and the Panny fits only the GF1, they are not interchangeable.

Hope that's useful - if I've missed anything, please feel free to add.

After all the discussion around this finder, I took it out today with my 20/1.7. I had bought it for my 17/2.8 and had never really used it with my 20.

To make a long story short - I liked it - so I've decided to keep it for a while, so it's no longer for sale.
