    Hey guys,
here are a couple images from a short snowshoeing hike up Hahn's Peak in Colorado. I had my GH2 + 14-45mm with me, the flair is probably stronger from my polarizer on.

here's the half way point, goal was the observation tower on top.

Very nice set! Snowshoeing is something I've been wanting to try lately.

thanks everyone, this was my first time out on snowshoes and it's definitely a good workout. I'll look to do another hike like this in January.

Also i've got to mention the capture camera clip I used during the hike, I don't like straps and things hanging off me while hiking or biking so this was my test outing and I highly recommend one for the easy and quick access for your camera.

Matz03. I have done that hike a number of times, but only in the summer. I love your photos -- you captured the place very well. Looks like you had a great time.

Oh that's awesome Scott, I was snowshoeing after Thanksgiving but this was the only peak in the area that seemed to have snow it, so we had to give it a go! It's no 14'er but my first time in snowshoes and around a foot of snow on the ground made it fun and challenging. Oh and following a trail covered in snow was also a little tricky.

thanks, probably less dramatic than it looks but that last section was a little steep and tricky. I think the summit is close to 11K feet so not terribly high by Colorado standards.
