Good morning from New York, rst and welcome to the board! I like your Snow and Grass - so delicate and spare, but with that lovely natural design you caught.

I would also like to thank you for your very helpful posts on other threads and look forward to hearing and seeing more from you.

    Welcome Home,
A beautiful thing about art is in the simplicity of design.
Harry Callahan would be smiling with your image.

BB, flush your toilet please, we need the water here in Philly...

rst, I don't think you mentioned which camera/s you use? By the way, I just came back from your gallery where I particularly like "Winter".

Shooter, we really haven't gotten all that rain they were foretelling, yet - but it is almost balmy out!

I use a Panasonic G1 and all those winter images were done with the f1.7/20mm which I like a lot.

Edit: I just realized your comment for "Winter". I use my usual b&w "process" which is to convert to grayscale in Lightroom, adjust the contrast to my liking and than apply a slight sepia tone via the split-tone tool of Lightroom. With this images I also reduced the vignetting of the lens a bit.

    Cheers

Thanks rst - I like that lens very much as well and am looking forward to getting outside with it once our rain stops!
