Just havin' some fun playing with macro... GH2, ISO 160, Canon EOS EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro

First image was at f/8 and I found I needed more DOF. The remaining images were at f/11.

How did you adjust the aperture on the ef lens?

Flash... mount the lens on my 5D, set desired aperture, push the DOF preview button, then remove lens while holding the DOF preview button. Lens stays at the set aperture, mount on GH2 and shoot. A bit cumbersome, but for the occasional macro work, the already owned and paid for EOS EF lens can come in handy. ;-)

Self portrait

I was surprised to see my own reflection in the "ball" if you look close. Version II will get closer and try to get a clearer self portrait
