Small change to the blogs (and forums too)

I added some software which rewrites the URLs here at mu-43.com so that our thread and post URLs now contain title key words, which make them easier to recognize if shared elsewhere, rather than just numbers and file extensions.

One of the benefits of this software is that we also get more sensible blog URLs. For example, mauve's blog address was previously mu-43.com/blog.php?u=1137 and now it is mu-43.com/blogs/mauve/

What happens if someone changes the thread tiitle? Would this break all existing links to that thread?

That could make things unpleasant quicky.

If you change a thread or blog post title, the original URL remains valid and will automatically redirect (301 permanent redirect) to the new show URL.
