Interesting picture as in the UK robins would try to kill each other in such close proximity, where are your robins from.

Mark.
Huntsville, AL.

Even find a cardinal or two around..but they are elusive.

BTW, it appears the American Robin is different than the one's in the UK:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Robin

"The American Robin (Turdus migratorius, also called North American Robin[2]) is a migratory songbird of the thrush family. It is named after the European Robin[3] because of the male's bright red breast, though the two species are not closely related. "

Nice capture Christilou, most of my bird shots are through the double glazing, if you get your lens close to the glass it shouldn't degrade your images to much at all.

My wife bought some meal worms for Patches yesterday, he's acting like a kid in a sweet shop.

Whoops, sorry Christilou, didn't mean to burden you with the window cleaning

The sun is well and truly out down here in Southampton too.

Patches is one lucky little fellow - and so are you and your wife!
Your right, we do feel blessed to have such a wonderful opportunity, each time we feed him we experience a massive thrill

Robin GH1 and Nikon

Another couple of shots of my garden robin. One was taken last summer when he was just a fluffy chick (Nikon) the more recent one is with the GH1 kit lens.
