Just curious if this lens is any good. I heard the M-mount version is very good, for about $5000  and just wondered if the m43-native version has been reviewed.

You mean the CINE T stop .95 (f .92) lens I assume and not the previous noktor (not to be confused with nokton) lens.

Actually it's only $3000, $4300 gets you the RF Coupled version which you only need if you want electronic communication with a Leica M Body.

I'd be very interested to see comparative reviews of this lens against the various excellent f1.2 50mm legacy lenses - such as my lovely Minolta MD...

Am I mistaken for something else or are you off topic?

OP is asking about reviews of the SLR Magic 50mm F0.95 in the native MFT mount and I found him a video.

So... Don't flame me for doing the right thing.

    How exactly am I flaming?

$5000 lens vs. the $1000 in the video.

I've seen the Steve Huff review, didn't realize it was the cine lens. The Adorama video is weird, rather narrowly focused and biased. I was hoping to find some imatest charts and stuff, and a comparison with other 50mm f/0.95 lenses (Leica and Canon spring to mind). Or is it so bad that technical reviews would be a waste of time?

I have the HyperPrime 50mm f0.95 lens. I love it, though i am currently trying to sell it. Its a great lens, soft on the highlights when wide open, so it gives off a dreamy look. Its well built, hefty and heavy. Its closest competitor is the Voigtlander 25mm f0.95 at roughly the same price. If you're not used to manual focusing, it'll take some practice, as the focus area when wide open is very small due to the razor thin DOF. But worth the effort.
