Just noticed that in some sites (such as Adorama and Uniquephoto), the current Pen cameras (like the E-P3 and E-PL3) have seen a slight price drop - a $50 instant rebate.

The price is alright on the E-PM1. My friend bought one upon my suggestion Nov, 2011 for $420 from brick mortar store from Ny city which had listed on ebay. Atleast for the E-PM1 the price is really nothing special.

Met up with someone yesterday who had the white EP3 with Lumix 20mm pancake. I really have to say that I prefer the form factor of the EP than the EM5.

Hoping that the price reductions will trickle down to the local Olympus in Manila... :)

I paid $699 for E-P3 kit with 17mm from Blacks before Christmas, so Henry's is still asking too much.

Blacks sometimes shocks me; they fly under the radar with some competitive m43 gear.

You lucky guys in Canada. Even with the discount, it's hard to find an E-P3 for less than $849 in the States. That's generally with either the 14-42mm kit zoom or 17mm pancake on it. I have yet to see the E-P3 available in body-only form.

I'm guessing, but pricing can be more aggressiveness m43 isn't as popular and stores need to move inventory. Not always cheaper though, lumix 7-14 retails for $1300 whereas stateside its $850-1000. The lumix 20 is about $450 canadian vs $350 stateside. Win some, lose some...

I paid £358.00 for my E-pm1 with the Kit lens 14-42, end of January, just checking now on Amazon UK the cheapest is £355.00.
If the other models are dropping I would expect the E-pm1 to do so as well very soon, unless of course the UK Gov: up the vat rate again.(not lightly)
I bought my NEX 5 before the last vat increase so was fortunate not to loose to much when I sold it recently.

The Olympus £50 cashback offer on E-PM1 and E-PL3 kits ends at the end of February (unless they extend it), so I would guess prices will drop once that ends. Whether they will drop by as much as £50 remains to be seen though - I doubt it, in which case now is probably as good a time as any to buy.

E-PM1 + 14-42mm seems to the same price just about everywhere (£356) - amazon, currys/dixons, Park, ABC, SRS - so if one of them drops the price the others are likely to follow.
