I guess I will preface this post with...I'M A 4/3 NEWBIE :) First real outing today with my E-PM1 and thought I'd post some pics. I would love some feedback, because I really have no idea what I'm doing. Thanks everyone!

I'd say you'd nailed it straightaway. Like number 5 the best, although number 1 is also a great shot. Thanks! BTW - where's SLC?

Thanks, for both replies :) Mr botak, sorry for the abbreviation, it stands for salt lake city. I had to drive my wife to the airport, so I thought I would stop into the city for some shots

Nice pics, I especially like the fountains in focus in #2 en #4. #5 is nice too.

Your user name made me smile. For those who's knowledge of Dutch has faded: it translates to "barking spider".

Judging from these I'd say you're doin' pretty well for someone who has "no idea what I'm doing!"

Nice series. Especially like the juxtaposition of the flower and the cathedral.

I think they were all jpegs, set in the vivid mode - a couple with more saturation. I have been really impressed with the olympus jpeg color. Although, I really like the G3 as well - I thought the colors were much better than the previous g series cameras :)

I really like #5. Interesting to see these - I was just there this last week for a conference and recognize all of those locations.
