These were taken not long after I got my G2. Took the family for a weekend of camping after work so we arrived at our site a bit late. Didn't stop me from grabbing my camera in hopes of making a decent image or two.

Sadly, the light was really low in the forest with the sun all but down. These 3 seemed ok after playing around in Lightroom with b&w conversions.

    All with G2 & 14-42

You certainly made the most of the conditions, that's three really good shots in the bag!

    Thanks!

Digital photography, and more particularly Lightroom, has awakened a strong interest in black & white for me. I shot film - slides - for many years, but I doubt more than 5 rolls of b&w film in that entire time as I had no access to a darkroom.

Now the "darkroom" has become an integral part of the process.

I enjoy the last photo a lot! Did you use a ND filter or tripod at all?

    Glad you like it

No ND filter, but did use a tripod. Sharpness was hurt by diffraction I believe, along with the processing. Too small an aperture, and I'm very much still learning LR.

    Thanks for looking, melonbread!

Great shots! B&W was a great choice in PP.

Thanks! The b&w certainly looked better than the somewhat muddy color I was getting
