How can there still be E-P1 new bodies anywhere? Seems like a great deal for the one that started it all.

I'm guessing that since Olympus still sells them directly new, that it is their own inventory that they are selling in bulk to discounters for final sales. A great deal for someone who likes the security of a warranty vs buying used for about $50 less.

Good price. I am waiting for e-p2 to drop to this price. :)

Did anyone happen to notice that the picture they're using on that link is an E-P3? Great deal though, the E-P1 is still a very capable camera.

If I were a bigger jerk I'd order it and then argue that it's not the one pictured. and demand a replacement.

Still a competent camera. Might be nice for someone who wants a cheap camera to bring along to rough places/tough trips.

Just the 2nd photo is incorrect...guess their marketing needs to make better use of google image search!

They're most likely old stock that's been sitting around unsold in warehouses since late 2009.

The problem for Olympus is that they want to sell newer bodies, but all the old stock floating around is pushing down prices and filling up shelves.

Yeah they need to sell as many of those E-P3s at current prices...instead of becoming next year's E-P1/2's selling at 3-400$!

The could offer free shares of Oly stock with each body... wouldn't cost them much.
