Just spoke to a sell man at my favorite camera store and he his saying that Sigma lens with Sigma mount are compatible with the 4/3 camera and also with the 4/3 to m4/3 adapter...

    Anyone can confirm that?

sigma on a sigma mount works for sigma bodies only (adapters, well, i havent seen one since its a third party brand, it should have a 4/3 mount version)

    get a 4/3 mount or a m4/3 mount

    Sounds like nonsense.

The Sigma SA mount uses an electronically controlled aperture. There are no 'smart' adapters for m4/3 that allow it to be changed. I'm not sure there are even dumb adapters (physically, the mount is similar to the Pentax K mount, but it uses completely different electronic signaling).

The camera store guy is probably talking about the Sigma 19 2.8 and 30 2.8, they are both m43 compatible.
