Portraits? Flowers? What're those? :hmmm:

I think in the past few months I've used it more for birds and landscapes than anything else. (of course, I like seeing what everybody else is doing too! no one right way...)

Photos taken with the original E-M1 and Sigma 60mm f2.8 using S-AF and processed with DXO PhotoLab 4 Deep Prime. Arizona's newest rink, Coyotes Community Ice Center. Bright LED lighting and port holes for spectators to take photos through.

Wow, how close did you get? I can't seem to get within 100 yards of one before they take off.
Several feet away, and it might have been possible to get even closer (but then it wouldn't fit in the frame). I wasn't the only person that close to it, actually. Seemed very acclimated to having people around. It was wading around in the edge of a pool in a public park.

Crosspost from the “Share: Trees” thread.

Taken with a NiSi square polarizer and tweaked in the native iPadOS14.4 Photos app.

The work of the lens to separate the subject from the background.

I've recently taken to carrying the 60mm in my EDC along with the GM5 and a P12-32. It makes a small kit that suits the summer heat here.

Here's a few pics from a walk along the river to the bakery and back the other day. Nothing special, just reminders of what great value this lens is, even in poor light.
