Yip, it's a pretty awesome combo. Handling is just a little bit compromised though - it might be better on the GX950 with the little grip at the front. Do you have any sort of grip on your GX850?

Sugru-made thumb rest and the small grip do make a huge difference in handling.

On my e-pm1 I used a flipbac stick on grip that was under £10 and made a huge difference to the handling and looked good as well. I used it with lenses bigger and heavier than the S56 (I bought my S56 after I sold the pm1).
The stick on grip could be worth a try, but it won't be as good as pake's engineered solution. YMMV

A bit ghetto for me...

I used to own a Franiec grip but lost it when I got my GM1 replaced under warranty :drama:. I might end up getting this: https://www.mu-43.com/threads/mystery-grip-for-gf7-gx850-and-friends.106959/post-1346616

My new 56 arrived this morning so have just done a few shots to try it out. Looking pretty good so far...

Homework all done, Emma has some sunday morning chill-time :)

I'm liking this lens, and cannot deny it's nigh on flawless in terms of sharpness. However, my jury is still out as to whether it's a keeper - it almost seems too good if that's possible?

It also has very good bokeh. Easy solution for it being too sharp - just add blur in PP ;-)

Oh it's certainly 10/10 on the bokeh front, although instead of taking sharpness away in PP, I tend to decrease clarity just a wee bit to 'round the corners off'. For the money, I cannot argue that Sigma have achieved something very special with this lens. :)

Considering that the venerable 75mm is supposedly a Sigma patented design it says a lot about their expertise. Two of the sharpest lenses I own

I'm still not 100% sure about this lens, and can't quite put my finger on why. Got 7 days to make my mind up.
