Could just never bond with my Oly 75mm lens so I sold it and picked up the Sigma 56mm ... no regrets.

Did someone say too shallow DOF in MFT forum? This is only F2 and Sigma 56mm F1.4 has one more step left.
Value for money is excellent and so is sharpness. Strangely panny DFD is working very reliably with this lens even when shooting video. CAF apparently likes light.

I have a couple of complaints though and they are visible in this picture (in addition to the Cat of course). At and below F2 colours will become sort of greyish washed out and there's a clear cool tint. Saturation is already increased in this sample and colours are adjusted slightly warmer but you still can't feel the sunshine. Pictures are clearly dark when shooting wide open and this does not happen with my other lenses so it looks like Sigma "1.4" is in reality closer to 1.7 or so.

About the colour: how is your white balance set? If set to auto, try to set it manually for your next test.
In my experience Panasonic auto WB often gives flat/cool colours. At least with three different camera's I have used.

i'm wondering whether to keep mine... its quite an odd FL and perhaps too long for me...:hide:
I don't use mine that often but it's cheap(ish), it's small(ish) and delivers helluva sharp photos in low light too. I wouldn't even dare dreaming of selling mine. When I use it, it never fails to impress me. Too bad I'm a zoom-guy...
