Okay folks, give up your pics of this beautiful bird!

Here's my money shot: GH2 with 100-300mm at 300mm, uncropped.

Very Nice! Looks like you had less moisture in the air in SoCal than we did up here to the north. Here's a couple I got as it went overhead.

This the last time we'll see a shuttle airborn. You both did well capturing this important event.
Thank you for sharing these.

Forgot to mention, that I was using my Oly 70-300mm lens on manual focus, with m4/3 adapter on my OMD. I did no post processing at all, other than to resize. I will probably play with these a bit more in light room, next week, and sharpen a bit.

I happened to be on the 210 freeway just north of Pasadena when it went right over.Amazing, beautiful sight, but was almost as amazing was the freeway. As I drove along, more and more cars and trucks were pulling over and the overpasses were chock full of spectators.Within five minutes, I was the only car moving so I just stopped in the middle of the freeway and got out to watch it fly by.Cop cars were everywhere, lights blazing and loudspeakers blaring, telling the cars to keep moving but it did no good.Of course I had no camera except my iphone which ran out of hard drive as I tried to video it go by.I couldn't believe how low and slow it was flying. It was quite a moment.
