    Hi there.

Maybe I'm worrying about nothing, but my E-P3's shutter often sounds slow to me. For example, 1/4000 sounds a lot like 1/5, and there's a noticeable delay between clicks. At other speeds, the clicks are much closer together, making a firmer sound.

    Is this normal?

I've noticed this too on occasion, and would check the image and image data, only to confirm that the shutter speed was where it was intended. It really is disconcerting when it happens though.

    The G3 also does it?

It doesn't seem to affect image quality, but I don't know what's going on. Really strange.
  5. The shutter sound on a mirrorless focal plane shutter sounds longer than normal since is doing twice the work as on an SLR: close from live-view mode, open and close to expose, and then re-open to return to live-view.
