Please show your own baking.

This is my first cake of 2013. Made from a mix - Betty Crocker. Oven seems to heat unevenly (workman always blames his tools . . .), had to saw off an unseemly eruption on one side and there wasn't quite enough icing to cover up the carnage. I'm sure it'll taste fine though

Nice cake. I have a tip though. I find that food photo's look better using longer focal lengths. It looks more natural and you don't get these really wide plates.:smile:

Cheers for the tip. I'll give that a go next time. Was just giving my 17mm a bit of a work-out in the kitchen. Will aim for a cheese-cake next time I think.
