Someone on another thread mentioned there's no airplane thread, so here it is. Aircraft and shots of all types welcome (yes, RC models count), static shots, in flight, glamour shots, restorations, details, etc. With the Admin's permission, I'd like to open the thread to shots taken with any camera since :43: has been around only a few years and there are some lovely historic aircraft out there. Did I mention that I love things that fly? With recent events, these seem appropriate to get things started: {} {}
And since you've asked... {} 'Lockheed-Martin C-5A "Galaxy" On Final Approach' by RedTail_Panther, on Flickr {} B-24J Liberator "The Blasted Event" by RedTail_Panther, on Flickr
Thanks RT. I had the ISO set higher than it needed to be for the T-38, I'm not happy with how grainy it is.
Thanks, Judy, for starting this thread, and for opening it up to formats beyond :43:. Here are a few with a regular four-thirds, the Oly E-500. {} {} {} {} {}
From an airshow I went to last summer. {} {} {} All with my PL2. The first two were taken with a 40-150, and the third with a no-name c-mount 25mm.
Here's some more Judy All with GF1 and Rokkor 45mm DC3 landing at Bundaberg airport <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/7120261171/" title="DC3 landing at Bundaberg by iconindustries, on Flickr"> View attachment 201866 "800" height="600" alt="DC3 landing at Bundaberg"></a> I think this is a P51 Mustang Replica <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/7120260723/" title="P51 Mustang Replica? by iconindustries, on Flickr"> View attachment 201867 "800" height="600" alt="P51 Mustang Replica?"></a> This is an AN2 Antonov which is still flown. It is so tricky to fly it takes two men to pilot it. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/6974180016/" title="Antonov AN2 (this is still flown regulary) by iconindustries, on Flickr"> View attachment 201868 "800" height="600" alt="Antonov AN2 (this is still flown regulary)"></a>
Sorry to post again so soon, but I just remembered this shot which I took just the other day. I like it quite a lot! PL2 with 40-150mm. {}
