One of Lion Group’s infamous Boeing 737 Max 8 taxing at Bali Ngurah Rai International airport in October 2018. The aircraft is reported as being parked since April 2019 which is not surprising given the history of the Boeing Max 8

Top tip. Always carry a camera.

In a densely populated area like mine, helicopters in city centres are a rare sight. I was picking my daughter up from work this morning and heard what I expected was the air ambulance. So grabbed my camera and headed towards the helipad.

Turned out it was a Super Puma helping out with a spot of building work.

My jpegs are looking a bit nasty in places. Anyone have any optimum settings such as size for uploading to this forum?

I still have the borrowed 12-100. The owner is offering me an instalment plan - seems I've used it more in three weeks than he has in three years. Pity he doesn't own an EM1X to go with it ?

Saturday at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (Williams AFB) in Mesa AZ. 3 parallel runways and they kept switching the active for landings. We went to take photos of the water tankers and got the C-47 from the Commemorative Air Force as a bonus.

This tanker landed on the left most runway about 45 seconds after the Allegiant plane above. It took me about 15 minutes messing around in Workspace to figure out the distortion was from the engine exhaust from the Allegiant plane.

Number 169's litter mate was flying out of Cedar City a week ago. It has a nice red belly stain from dropping retardant.

Air Asia 9M RAE About to be Towed - Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

Snapped a photo of Air Asia’s Airbus A320-216, 9M RAE at the air bridge at Bali Ngurah Rai International airport.

I was a bit surprised as, as other low-cost carriers flying in and out of Bali they seem to have to make use of buses to get passengers on and off planes. Even flying Guardia, Indonesia national airline has seen us doing the bus shuttle.
