Two seat SAAB TF-35 Draken, 2 Draken is kept in flying condition at their old homebase, Karup (Denmark) View attachment 910269 . They are not allowed to fly - only taxi on the ground. From 2021 Draken Meeting.

I've always loved the look of these.

Picture 1 - DH Chipmunk, air experience flight pre-briefing (Air Training Corps), RAF Cosford, circa 1978:

"In the event of an emergency......I shall jettison the canopy.....flip the aircraft onto its back (I think I was supposed to be standing on/in the bucket seat at this point)..........and instruct you to bale out".

"If you say 'pardon', you will be talking to yourself".

I'm pretty sure no-one ever had to bale out.

A few friends of mine belong to a syndicate that owns and operates aerobatic airplanes. They invited me to take some air to air photos, needless to say it was quite an experience. I really appreciated the stabilization on the EM1.2 combined with the 12-100 pro, it was quite a challenge hand-holding with low shutter speed with the camera hanging out of the photo plane in the air stream ?
