Since Richard M in Australia posted a pic of a weird dwarf orchid a few days ago, I’ve been searching for the NZ equivalent. A lot of our flora and flora originated in Australia. Separated by the 1200 NM of Tasman Sea, I know stuff just gets here by wind power alone. Look what I found! I couldn’t believe it! If it wasn’t for Richard’s pic, I would never have seen it.

It was just about dark, and nearly all light was gone. I’ll go back tomorrow and have another look. After all, there only 250 meters from my camp..
