Pembrokeshire Hedgerows I

We went for our mid-Pandemic walk yesterday and came across this plant which is usually one of the first wildflowers we see in the banks here in coastal Pembrokeshire. Its Latin name is Cochlearia Officinals, known as Common Scurvy-grass or sometimes Spoonwort.
Its stems and leaves are rich in Vitamin C and was used by sailors to ward off the effects of Scurvy when they were away at sea.
