I assumed that a thread like this already existed. If there is one, point me to it. I know how much people like to photograph their new toys (I mean tools).

I wanna see black ones and silver ones. Ones with native glass and ones with legacy lenses. I wanna see pinhole lenses attached and I wanna see big honking teles attached.

Show us the OMD on your couch, show us your OMD visiting the Taj Mahal. Show me yours with a wonderful bokeh behind it. Show me yours surrounded by detailed in focus surroundings.

Let's see a few dressed up in half cases or totally stripped down to bare metal. I wanna see some E-M5 porn here.

and if one single person points me towards a Google image search I swear I'll smack 'em.

One could argue this meets the definition of "From the sublime to the ridiculous" but I sort of like it!

Kenez: how's the af speed of the 14-54 mk2 and can you post a shot without the grip and without the base plate?

Thanks!

The 20mm is gone and replaced by the 25mm, but you get the idea.

Here you go. I think the ergonomics with 4/3 lenses are better with the grip attached (usually both pieces but at least the upper portion). As far as focusing speed goes, this is actually a Mk I lens but it is definitely useable except for fast action shots. I would say it typically locks focus in 1-2 seconds. The Mk II version might be better since it is optimized for contrast detection focusing. I should have stopped down for these shots since at F2.0 the depth of field is very shallow but at least you get the idea.

Hi

Your black body comes with a silver kit lens?

In my country, the silver body comes with black kit lens only, no silver lens.

I like the covered logos...I was thinking of filling in the white lettering with black paint and wiping the rest clean, but I'm to chicken so far...

A few members have used a toothpick to actually remove the white paint from the letters. Results look very clean.

Why do you have all the I.D. covered up in your camera?

Just to give it a more stealth look and I like it.

Hi what have you put on your shutter button?

That is a Gariz soft shutter button, found here on eBay.

I've actually done this with all the older m4/3 camera's I've had, a GF1 and G3. I used just a matte black paint and it was very easy. I've since sold both, couldn't really tell if the buyer cared or not. I just like the look of it more. I had some left over leatherette skin left over so I just cut a few pieces and see if it would stick before painting this one.

Not me. I mean, what's the point when one E-M5 looks the same as any other. Why not just do a Google Image search for this, i.e. "camera porn"?
