I'm hoping you'll allow me to claim this as a small barn, given its location and use.
I think it's an old Nissen hut, left over from WW2.
A few miles along the road is an old POW camp with quite a few huts still standing.
One of them was converted into a wonderful chapel by Italian prisoners, using whatever waste materials they could get their hands on, such as old fruit cans etc. and it is beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, it's only open for group bookings and I've only ever seen it on TV.

I doubt whether the one in my photo is anywhere as elaborate inside!

This nondescript tobacco drying barn situated on the outskirts of Glasgow Kentucky is of significant historic importance, at least to me. Though the house is long-since gone, this barn belonged to my grandparents and is the barn my dad grew up working and playing in. They would've purchased this place sometime in the early 1920's and sold it once the kids were grown and gone, probably in the early to mid 50's. We located it and other personal historic landmarks on a recent trip to Kentucky.

It kind of looks like a barn but no one around to ask about it

This was a huge crop since it was so far off the road and my longest lens I had with me was the 50mm.

Really guys, Northern MN is more than just dilapidation, but I do seem to have a knack for sniffing it out.
