There are some sweet looking adapted lens-camera combos out there. Don't be shy. Show us yours!

3/9/10 Addendum: Please also consider adding your lens to our new database of lenses for member review!

I have probably posted this elsewhere but at least this is in context here...

The lens is a Schneider-Kreuznach Xenon 40mm f/1.9 circa 1954. It comes from a Robot Star IIa camera and adapter is from Hawks Factory via eBay. The big thing in the front is the folding hood which fits snugly on the lens when stored.

I do like that look too - very retro to me. Certainly from an aesthetically pleasing point of view it's a winner - and we know it makes good pictures, too.

Chalkdust, terrific lens collection you've got there! I'd love to see some photographs made with the 50 Sonnar in another thread.

Voigtländer Pentax K to m4/3 adapter + SMC lenses

Having moved from Pentax-land to Oly-land, I thought I should make use of all that old SMC glass I have kicking around...

Here is the Voigtländer Pentax K to m4/3 adapter

What a hoot! My father sent me a 50mm f3.5 Heliar yesterday. Of course, I had to try it on the G1:

By the way, I think it would be a very bad idea to try to collapse this lens on this camera! It is fun to use (feels very old-timey). However, it is best to focus after choosing an aperture because turning the aperture ring can turn the lens and refocus it.
And a quick sample of its work:

I really like this thread, hopefully I'm trying a late 50's Leica 5cm f2.8 M mount collapsible on my G1 today, (if the mount arrives)

    Thanks lasjas

is that the adapter for a M4/3 to use M mount lenses, (if so I have just bought one)

I came to digital late after a long rest from film cameras, but I have kept all my old Nikon, Canon, Pentax SLR stuff

I have a couple of adapters, (RJ camera):

    M4/3 to Nikon F
    M4/3 to Leica M - (arriving today)

Planning to buy, (but not just yet - need to see how it goes as I really want a wide, either Panny 17mm or a CV MF lens, which will consume £300 plus)

    M4/3 to Canon FD
    M4/3 to Pentax K
    M4/3 to Pentax screw
