The truck appears to have a uni-body instead of a frame.
Not exactly but almost:
Most of these mini-trucks, acquired over here between early-seventies and mid-eighties, are based on the typical japanese family cars of the early seventies, that is quite small 5 seater RWD unibody cars.

To make them mini-trucks, the front half is more or less exactly the same (mc-pherson struts and a 1200cc simple reliable engine, RWD) then a bulkhead is welded on the rear and a pressed-formed panel bed welded in the back. Instead of a ladder frame there is a ladder frame alike pressed-formed panel structure welded under all of it and the transmission is bolted on it.

So not exactly plain unibody but unibody-with-embedded-ladder-reinforcement, like this (found in the datsun1200.com forum, more underbody pics there):

Found this gem in a little rural town...believe it may have been used as a well driller...among other things. Home made Rube Goldberg assembly.

Building a new train station at Cheltenham, Melbourne, Victoria, and removing level crossings either side of it. About 70 years overdue, but at least it's being done now. Concrete truck.
