A warning maybe for the better, if you look closely you can see landing strip on the field of a rural aircraft club. The sun was fighting through some heavy clouds, firing down a spotlight illuminating the whole scene.

The Roads to Recovery Program commenced in early 2001 as a single intervention to address the problem that a significant amount of local government road infrastructure was about to reach the end of its economic life and its replacement was beyond the capacity of local government. A total of $1.2 billion was paid to more than 730 Local Government Authorities (LGAs) between March 2001 and June 2005.
Ellen Street, Fremantle was a recipient of this funding. All we have to show for it some 15 years later is this sign (the nature of politics I guess).
