More likely by a council contractor smashing the hedges to bits with their mechanical equipment.

I was following an abandon railway form when it passed through a cutting. On either side of the cutting were two signs referencing geological forms. It appears that the signs were once enclosed, but as to their purpose here, it remains unclear.
