The last few shots from July.
This is the old slate quarry near Abereiddi in North Pembrokeshire.
It's known to locals as the Blue Lagoon, as can be seen from the colour of the water (though I see it more of an iridescent green

).
Some of the outdoor pursuits companies in the area claim to have invented the sport of "Coasteering", where participants either swim or kayak around the coast and when the occasion arises, climb up onto the rocks and cliffs and jump back into the sea.
Here in the lagoon it's just the brave ones who climb up alongside the old quarry buildings and jump in.
Given my fear of heights, I was having enough trouble getting these shots from the clifftop walk above the lagoon.
From around 100 feet up and with a howling wind, I was a nervous wreck myself.

For those with a stronger disposition, the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series, visited in 2012, 2013 and 2016.
They fasten a board onto the cliff face and jump from there. If you g**gle The Blue Lagoon Abereiddi you'll see a photo on there from the top platform.
