Must try and get down there next time we visit Brizzle.
I thought it was just docks!
The docks are long gone Brian. The area is now a marina with residential apartments, pubs and restaurants.

This is an image that I had some fun with. Taken a couple of years ago, I added a different sky and added the birds using Luminar 4.
IIRC it was taken with the Oly 7-14 Pro which I no longer own.

These were all taken at Freshwater West on the Pembrokeshire Coast.
This first one is an old Seaweed drying hut, that was recreated some years back by the National Park Authority as an example of what would have occupied the site. Seaweed had a variety of uses, one of which was the making of Laverbread, a local delicacy often fried with bacon.
Keen cinema-goers (or film buffs) may have spotted the hut in the 2009 Robin Hood film starring Russell Crowe.

Freshwater West is one of Pembrokeshire's best surfing beaches, but has strong rip currents, so it tends to attract experienced surfers.

Just north of the beach is an extensive range of sand dunes.

And further north, at the top of the hill overlooking the beach, is the War Memorial dedicated to the residents of Freshwater West area, who lost their lives or went missing during the First and Second World Wars.

And alongside, is the proverbial "Lonely Bench" from which to contemplate life; or in this instance, possibly death.

All photos taken with an Olympus TG5 "tough" camera on a miserable, damp and windy day. :D
