I've just been reading a report by the Woodland Trust, which says that simply being in the presence of trees brings about better mental health.
I'm sure many city dwellers would love to have the opportunity of calling that track boring Rose.

Oh gosh ... despite the fact I labelled it as boring, I did enjoy it, as we hadn't walked here before.

I suppose I was comparing it to some terrific walks here ....

But I am lucky - twenty minutes from the sea ..... and thirty minutes in another direction.

Also some bush nearby. Tend not to go there as not allowed dogs, and I like to include him in my walks.

Abedja loop trail, San Marcos, CA. This one is pretty close to us - it is surprisingly steep (800ft elevation gain per mile) and kicks my rear end just about anytime I do it.

The road into Val Susauna, Engadin, Switzerland. The mountain is Piz Quattervals, so called because 4 valleys radiate out from it.
