The previous night we had shared the gites at Le Bouchet-Saint-Nicolas with a very friendly group of French cyclists who were riding some of the Chemin de Stevenson [GR70]. They passed us a few kilometres out of Le Bouchet-Saint-Nicolas on a nice riding section of the trial.

A taste of the Yaberoo Budjara Heritage Trail as it winds its way through the Yanchep National Park. On the positive side the trail does not climb the dunes; instead, it contours around the base. Whew!
Quite a rain shower is about coming to an end, while I stopped below our railroad bridge to take a quick picture of the road heading to the bridge of the abandoned railroad line. The bikeway on the right has been finished earlier this year and is well received by local citizens.

This is a remote mountain road on the northern edge of the Black Mountains in South Wales.
We've ridden it twice, as here in freezing conditions, and once when we almost melted.
The road serves a couple of farms and we've only ever met sheep and wild ponies on it.
