The river Charente, western France. A shot from yesterday morning on the way back from the boulangerie, showing one of the views I'm enjoying since we moved. As it gets warmer I suspect I may throw some crusts in the river to see how big the carp get - rumour has it the local record at 30kgs could be easily bettered
I do like the little sprung wooden horse that's been installed in the foreground!

It is, indeed. When I finish the gîte I fully expect some of you to become clients. There is no better place to spend a week in France, tons of photographic opportunities....Beautiful looking spot though.![]()
