Coffee bean containers. The wheels and tubes are old coffee grinders in a shop. I'm not sure they're still in actual use, but the wheels are turning.

... ...ok, almost regret that I asked as an electrical engineer I really thought it was some vacuum tubes on an old radio station or something like that

Tonight after using the elliptical, its display panel light was still on when I turned off the basement light and I was quite taken with its blue glow.

Almost a dozen years and still cause of suffering: the amok shootings in our town. Sixteen were killed, among them 13 pupils. Ibrahim wanted to stay at home because of a sports injury. His father wanted him to go to school and drove him. Till today he can't forgive himself. I could have been one of the victims had I gone to the school at my usual time instead of half an hour later.

How about a nice archery bow instead (but not one of those compound contraptions).
