Not quite enough sharpening for my liking Mike.
Well I did spend quite a while preparing for the shot with my acute angle Kum Masterpiece pencil sharpener, with it’s replacement Damascus steel blades. Well that sorts out the timber and coloured finish. Then using my MoraKniv 120, custom grip and concave grind on my big Tormek wet grinder, diamond stones and strop with chromium oxide on Bentley leather strops. Hand paring the soft crayon points to a four edged point, admittedly some crumbling and the granddaughter constantly snatching some to complete her works of art. Sharp enough for me.

I meant the image. :dance3:

Only joking.

I admire your patience Mike.......
and your woodworking skills.

We've got the grandkids visiting soon; I wish they were still content with crayons. :(

I understood. I only went into details as I have the time. Passed on archery today as wet and windy, no precision possible, then drying and lubricating my equipment, again. Waiting to rub down paintwork. My wife is bored, so painting the house when not digging up the garden. I enjoy what I do, and enjoy using my tools and limited skills. I have a Koa tenor ukulele to polish that I have been putting off. Thanks.

At 1:30pm, this was as high as the sun would rise all day. I didn’t have to do a lot of work in post to get that cold and bleak feeling to this photo -

OK, I'll have to ask where this was taken?
This is the whale bone arch in Utqiagvik (Barrow) Alaska. Most pictures are looking in the other direction, towards the Arctic Ocean, not back towards the town.
