Rained all day. GX8, 35-100 lens held up very well. Camera and lens were soaked and when I got home the rear dial didn't work. However, once it had dried out it was fine. Might be the seals are breaking down but it was a very severe test.

No, the yellow thing on his chest isn't a lens pouch, it's bear spray...

If you become a curmudgeon like me, you will need to learn how to hunker down. Hunkering down is an art.
Falling down is far easier. It's also less of an art and can bring many benefits - sympathy, succour, band-aids, pretty nurses and sometimes a glass of something strong. I can also sleep after falling down, not sure I can do that while a'hunkering.

My lovely partner Susan in the Sunflower maze a few Km's south of us. The owners have a couple of bikes there to use as props for photos.

EM1.2 + 40-150f2.8

The tech may change but the chimping doesn't.

(I'm told they are the local [Oregon Observer] newspaper's reporter and editor)

and while we have the great feature of live-view in our viewfinders over DSRL optical ones, I see rather often photographers with mirrorless cameras still chimping, as if the rear LCD is offering a better view than the EVF?
I guess some habits are hard to shake off...
