I came across this nice lady earlier trying to photograph her girls posed in front of a vintage car, that I wanted also. So I waited outside of her shot. She seemed to be struggling with the camera. So I volunteered to photograph her with the girls. She asked me why she couldn't see the scene on the screen. I explained it was a DSLR and best to use the viewfinder. She confessed it was a friends camera, so obviously she was used to P&S or smartphones. She then asked how to zoom -- twist here on the lens. I saw her again a very short while later, continuing to photograph her girls in various places. Here she is on the rails (the girls are too, out of frame), obviously looking much more knowledgeable and comfortable with her friends camera.
