Camped yesterday at Island Bar on the Salmon River in Idaho. Pen-F High Def mode with m.Zuiko 45mm 1.8, 1/15 sec. @ f/5.6, ISO 200

I received my near mint Olympus Pen F today (swapped it for an Olympus 7-14 Pro that I wasn't using), and also a second hand Olympus 45mm 1.8 that I purposely purchased for this camera.

I haven't really delved into the menu to change settings yet, but thought I would try the mono setting and snap a couple of pics to try it out.

I'm really looking forward to trying out different mono settings on this camera and seeing how I go. Can see myself loving this camera.

I didn't understand the need for gloves until I saw the 3rd photo. Makes perfect sense now.

I am really liking the look of this Pen-F. I am seeing some great images on this thread. Might make a Panasonic/Adapted lens junkie like me start to stray. I will never stray from manual, 35mm film lenses though. Anyone using old manual 35mm film lenses with the Pen-F?

Don’t use 35mm lens but nearly always use manual focus on the Pen-F. Looking to get an adapter so I can use some.
How do get any work done? The Blue Ridge Mountains are nothing but a Photographer’s dream.

This one is on the small side. They can be pretty big. If they catch a finger it's over.

A couple from visiting adopted family in Laos last August/September. My granddaughter Laura, named after my mother, one son with his girlfriend at Tad Sae (Sae Falls), and another son in a Phonsavon snooker parlour. The pool shot was taken with the Pen F and an old 50mm screw mount Summicron from 1952. The files need slightly different treatment in Lightroom, but are suprisingly easy to work with.
