Thank God I'm deaf!

Only joking.....that's a lovely image Richard and I can think of nothing finer for bringing a family closer than to play sweet music together.
My wife often plays the piano (which is sat behind me as I type) while I'm on here and I find it quite comforting.
Although I am severely deaf, I can enjoy the full range of its tones.

I can't play a note myself and that's always been one of my few regrets in life.
Though I'm sure I would have been the world's greatest drummer if only my Mum would have let me have a set. 🥁

They don't sound too bad ;)

I was fortunate to be born into a musical family - my Dad taught me to read music around the same time as I was learning to read at school so had an early start. Took up the Clarinet and Piano (aged 6 and 9 respectively), eventually realising this would be my vocation and played professionally for around 30 years. Finished doing so around 7 years ago and just do the odd bit of teaching and conducting/training local music ensembles now. It's very liberating doing it for fun again, and not to put food on the table. More time for photography too. :)

There seems to be a misconception that the Pen F is not capable of producing great images at ISO 6400. I shoot for a live theater company, so I thought I'd share a few images from a play. All images were shot at ISO 6400, 3 images at f/3.2 & 1 image at f/2.8. All images shot with a Pen F with an Olympus 12-40/2.8. All images were shot handheld with the only lighting being the stage lighting. In the approx 20 plays (14k images) that I've used the camera to photograph, there has been only 1 scene where the AF could not catch focus. That was a scene where 4 actors were on a couch, facing the audience, as they were looking at a lit television screen which faced away from the audience. They were lit solely by the TV screen. All stage lights, were out, except for the TV screen. Prior to the Pen F, I was shooting these plays with a Nikon D500. This play was "Beauty and the Beast"
