I suspect that photo predates the EM5 by several decades ;)
Right you are. Old Pentax spotmatic scanned slide. Pre Carretera Austral this was the only land route into Cochrane and the
Rio Baker. This was the last trip in the fall. Only yearly trip I think. Besides bringing in supplies the truck hauled all the wool from the local estancias to the port at Lago General Carrera.

It's September, and the trails are in great shape for some off road photography adventures.

Here's my latest Subaru off road video shot with LUMIX G9 and GX85 at Mono Lake. A lot of narrow sandy trails all over the place.

Winnie-the-Scat is a wonderful little jeep for a quick dive into the bush to banish greyday blues. This waterhole was dug as a fire water point in a state park in Victoria, Australia.

My 1st trip to Trona Pinnacles was a hot one. The weather report said 86 degrees at Ridgecrest, turned out to be 92 in the desert flat lands at Trona Pinnacles. Soon as the sun set temps dropped rapidly to 60s which was a huge relief. The Garmin GPS got me lost for 1.5 hours and about 35 miles heading south on some dirt roads at 2AM.

Looks like it was picked out of a Subaru brochure. Great image.

My trusty, old dirt bike. A bit of California Pass in the foreground and Engineer Pass in the background. In the San Juan mountains of Colorado.
