Never under estimate a raven's ingenuity. The lower nest is currently occupied. Maybe the light kept them up at nights, so they moved down a level.

If holding a cell phone next to your head all day long can cause cancer, I can only imagine what it would be like to be born in the middle of a cell tower. I guess we will have more crazy ravens.

A cardinal built its nest inside a tree right next to our house. It was so well hidden that I couldn't get a picture from any angle without coming too close. So a much less pleasant wasp's nest that was (and still is) right above the entrance has to suffice.
E-P5 + 60mm/f2.8 macro. I used flash.

A pair of osprey and their nest 3 years ago. Wind or lightning took out the top of the tree the following year and they’ll have moved to a new location.
