Found this guy while looking for mountain lions in Montana.
I can't really tell what this as it's a little dark. I can say I see an eye, which would have had me drop my camera gear and run for my life.

I do have to ask though, crawling around dark animal dwellings like this, how many stitches have you accrued ?

The first 4 are eagle nest around Bear lake. We can get closer, but we don't want to intimidate, so take pictures from far away. I was lucky to see the mom bringing fish to the nest. The last one is on Green River, and we don't have access, so 300mm+2xTC was used. Even 1200mm Eq, this is still too far (which is good for them). Both of them have two juveniles, and they are very close to fledge. My guess is mid-July.
