Eased travel restrictions (up to 150 Km) saw me venturing a bit further from home. Winter is on its way and the landscape is drying out.
Stitched from 2 images. South East Queensland

Damiano, is that Mt. Lindsay on the far away RHS? Looks sort of familiar. Nice shot(s).

like amphibians, the middle link between life’s origins at sea and life on land,
these just dressed up valves are the middle link between fully naked valve stems and head incorporated ones

I am scratching my head on the extra fuel pipes after the carburetor - are they for enriching in cold weather or some ”power jet” of shorts?

Sorry, Michail, but I haven't got a clue about that. The really old beasties have some wonderful and ingenious ways of doing things.

A friend asked me yesterday to digitize for him a slide that is at least 30 years old.
This required me to get my 18 year old Minolta Dimage Scan Elite-II scanner running under Windows 10. I had the ambition to run it with the original software from Minolta, although there are of course no drivers for Windows 10.
This is his motorcycle from 1972, which he is currently completely disassembling to restore it. It is a BMW R75-5, partly modified as -6.
Here is the result of my efforts. I hope you will like it :whistling:

cell phone shot from June 2018.
Drove past this for years on way to work. Stopped many times when on bike for a picture.
That awning provided some difficult shadows to deal with, so the early morning was the best time for the lighting condition, but not a good time for me to stop. So overcast/cloudy days in later afternoon was next best.
