I've been using my wife's Santa Claus collection as subjects for experimenting with the high resolution and focus stacking settings that are available on my E M5 Mark II. Using a sheet of black acrylic and a black velvet background, I think I can consider some of these shots to be minimalistic, not as much as some of the wonderful photos already posted.

Thank you so much! I noticed that you are from West Cork, Ireland. Back in the 90's, fiends of ours moved to Cork and we were able to visit them. My wife, two sons and I really enjoyed our visit to Ireland. It's a beautiful country. At that time, I hadn't started my pursuit of photography, and now, I'd love to explore Ireland again with my camera. Happy New Year!

Ireland certainly is a photogenic country! Hope you get to visit after tye pandemic.

My daughter came to visit and forgot her wire, so took the picture to tell her she had forgotten something. So happened the photo had a little something.
Canon 5D with Helios44 fully opened, and I must say a bit soft...
