After years of consideration, I finally grabbed a 75mm. In addition to taking great photos, I think it’s one of the best looking lenses in the catalog.

Bling for the 40-150Pro, my poor hood has been through the wars and is getting a bit scuffed, i had some carbon fiber wrap turn up for a different project and thought why not :)

I've just had a bill from Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs for over £3 grand, apparently they made a mistake with their calculations over three years ago and they want the payment as a one-off, no more GAS or M4/3 Camera P*rn for me for a while - b*stards!

I just came back from a steampunk event (Watch City in Waltham, Massachusetts) with my E-m5 + MMF-3 + classic 14-54mm mark II lens disguised as a steampunk cellphone camera:

I called all of the puppet mascots my camera's apps. They are:
  • Top left: Painter squirrel (livinea) and photographer squirrel (nutzo);
  • Top middle: Snap the dragon with telescope and compass;
  • Top right: Angry birds on a catapult;
  • Middle left: Madeline Pomfriet III (aka MP3) the octopus musician;
  • Middle right: Eva the beavah (beaver in Massachusetts speak) with sextant and slide rule;
  • Bottom left: Racky the raccoon with tool box and telegraph key;
  • Bottom right: Dr. Quackenstien, mad scientist.
  • More pictures: Pictures of me in costume and my props taken in 2019

Not much difference in size and weight when they get this small and mighty.
