Show "Micro 4/3 Camera P*rn"

Discussion in 'Other Genres' started by Luckypenguin, Feb 23, 2011.

  1. Every so often in the forums I see some great gear shots that really show off Micro 4/3 cameras and lenses at their best. As a bit of a fan of this type of photography (aka Camera P*rn) I thought it would be cool to group some of these shots together in one thread.

There's obviously plenty of shots of m4/3 cameras with all manner of adapted lenses attached at mu-43.com but I was specifically thinking of Micro 4/3 cameras and native lenses. Having said that, if you've got an interesting or special looking shot with a non-m4/3 lens attached then don't be shy about adding it. The artier, the cleverer, the more imaginative the shot, the better.

I'll start it off with a few shots of Ee-Pee with 17mm pancake and VF-1...

...ready for assembly with an OM50/1.8...

...and wearing her heart on her sleeve.

Oh, not that one makes me swoon!!

P.S. OK so it's not a Micro 4/3 camera but you are showing off the lens you used, right? ;-)

I don't have any creative photos featuring native m43 lenses (as I only have the kit lens at the moment) but once my 17mm f/2.8 arrives I'll be sure to make some.

    OM-1MD w/OM Zuiko Auto-W 28mm f/2.8 + E-PL1/VF-2 w/OM G. Zuiko Auto-S 50mm f/1.4 mounted via OM-EOS/EOS-m43 adapter

I think Olympus E-PL2 is the first Oly camera that matches Panasonic lenses stylistically.

  15. For what appears to be a crossbreed between an E-P2 and a Canon G11 the E-PL2 is actually a very nice looking camera and does suit the 20/1.7 quite well. In particular an E-P1 + 20/1.7 is a no-no from a camera porn point of view, but if someone wants to prove me wrong...
